The short version: no accounts, no ads, no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels. We hold personal data in exactly one case — you typed it into a form and asked us to have it — and you can take it back any time.
Reading the site sends us nothing. There are no analytics scripts and no advertising or fingerprinting of any kind. Our web host keeps standard, short-lived request logs to run the service.
Form data is stored in our private Airtable base. Email sending runs through Postmark, which holds your address and its delivery/suppression status on our behalf. The site itself is served by Vercel. That's the whole list, and none of them may use your data for anything but our sending.
One confirmation email when you subscribe, and nothing further unless you click its confirm link (double opt-in). After that: Power Grab Brief, about twice a week. Our emails carry no open or click tracking.
Every brief has a one-click unsubscribe link in the footer (and in your mail app's built-in unsubscribe button). It takes effect immediately — every send checks the suppression list first.
Want to be deleted entirely? Say so via the contact form or by replying to any brief, and we delete your records from Airtable and Postmark within 30 days. One nuance: if you want a guarantee we can never email you again, the industry-standard way is a suppression entry — your bare address on the do-not-send list — and we'll keep exactly that unless you tell us to erase even it.
No selling, renting, or sharing your data. No lists handed to campaigns, parties, or "partners." If any of this ever changes, this page changes first, and subscribers hear about it in the brief before it takes effect.
