Trump discloses $1.4B in crypto-related income for 2025
Trump's 2025 financial disclosure reported some $1.4 billion in crypto-related income, powered largely by memecoin licensing, World Liberty Financial token sales and related ventures.
What happened
Trump's 2025 financial disclosure, a 927-page filing to the U.S. Office of Government Ethics released 2026-06-30, reported some $1.4 billion in crypto-related income for calendar 2025 — roughly $635M from the memecoin licensing entity, ~$290M from World Liberty Financial wallets, ~$236M from other token sales and ~$65M from World Liberty Financial equity (NBC News, 2026-06-30). This row holds the count for 2025 crypto income and supersedes money-2025-01-17-003 ($636M memecoin), which is logged, not counted. It does not supersede money-2025-06-13-039, whose $57.4M is calendar-2024 World Liberty income from the June 2025 disclosure.
Why it matters
The crypto income came from an industry his own administration spent the same year deregulating and pardoning. Trump made liberalized crypto regulation a cornerstone of his presidency, and in 2025 he pardoned Silk Road creator Ross Ulbricht, the BitMEX founders and their company, and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, who had supported the family's crypto business. Policy and personal enrichment, in the same year.
