Foreign licence fees paid Trump $59.5M in 2025, from nine countries

Trump's 2025 financial disclosure reports $59,518,109 in foreign licence fees — from the UAE, India, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Romania, Vietnam, the Philippines, Oman and Turkey. Forbes puts his foreign licensing income at $61 million, a figure that also contains two golf-management fees counted on money-2026-06-30-081.

What happened

Forbes reports the business "generated $61 million in 2025", up an estimated 30% from 2024 and 900% from 2023: the UAE largest at $23 million, then $10 million from India and $9 million from Saudi Arabia, with Qatar, Romania and Vietnam about $5 million each. That $61 million is the filing's nine countries of licence fees plus its two foreign golf-management fees, in Dubai ($1,254,744) and at Lido in Indonesia ($284,398) — Indonesia being the tenth country. Those two are counted with the golf properties on money-2026-06-30-081, which names them, so this row counts the licence fees alone: $59,518,109. Forbes also reports that the filing shows family members — "presumably Eric and Don Jr." — now hold 20% of his new licensing deals. The income is 2025's; the date here is the disclosure's release.

Why it matters

Foreign partners paid a sitting president tens of millions for the use of his name during his first year back in office, nine countries' worth, and Forbes puts the rise at 900% since 2023. Representatives of the Trump Organization did not answer Forbes's questions about the dealmaking. White House deputy press secretary Anna Kelly said: "There are no conflicts of interest."
